Taylor: My band had some really weird food in Asia. They’d eat things that were like, alive and they’d go eat things that were just like, really disgusting and I didn’t want in on any of that…
Taylor: This is the first AMA I’ve ever won! The special thing about the American Music Awards is that they’re voted on by the fans and also they’re…they’re really shiny and I just wanna thank all the wonderful people who went out and bought my album this week and made it number one and it is an honor… it’s an honor that you even care about the songs that I write in my bedroom. Thank you so much, you have no idea how much this means to me.
Taylor: [holding up Joe Jonas doll] See, this one even comes with a, with a phone, see, so he can break up with other dolls.
Taylor: I’m so happy! This is the first time that I’ve ever been to the Teen Choice Awards…And this is amazing! I just…I wanna thank the fans. You guys have made my life so beautiful and it’s all because of you and this tour this summer has been unbelievable, seeing all of you. I feel like, you know, it’s been a long time since I was a teenager- like, 2 years, so…it’s been a while and I remember when- I love you too! Thank you, that’s nice! Um, when I was a teenager I felt like we were always being stereotyped as being very intense, and dramatic, and passionate, and hopelessly romantic, and excitable, and now in retrospect I think that I need to let you know that I think all those things are amazing things. And I hope that, to all the teens watching, I hope you never lose those things. And I’m honored that you so passionately chose to give me this award. Thank you so much, I love you.
Paparazzi: Taylor, was it awkward to spend New Year’s Eve with the Jonas Brothers?

Interviewer #2: Wait, how do you hold up with all of this? How do you hold up with the focus on you because there’s so much celebrity focus on young women who are getting the attention that you’re getting. Do you feel that kind of pressure?
Taylor: Um.. Not really. He’s an amazing guy and anyone would be lucky to be dating him.
Interviewer: Yeah, definitely! Well, that’s the exact same thing all three of them said about you.
Taylor: Oh yeah! That’s how I deal with it. [laughs]
